The third quarter of 2024 saw varying trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Oman. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited distinct patterns in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Bolt: Request a Ride from BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 1.3K in early July and falling to 648 by the end of September. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively steady, hovering around 3.6K to 3.9K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady number of weekly downloads, ranging from around 988 in early July to 658 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed stability, with figures fluctuating between approximately 28K and 30K.

Mandoosy Driver - سائق مندوسي, a newer entrant, showed an upward trend in downloads, peaking at 2.4K in the first week of August before stabilizing around 271 by the end of the quarter. The app did not report active user data for this period.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery witnessed a decline in downloads, dropping from 373 in early July to 139 by the end of September. Similarly, its weekly active users decreased slightly, from 1.2K to around 1.1K.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a fairly consistent pattern in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 343 and 278. Its active user base remained stable, ranging from 1K to 1.1K during the quarter.
